Enterprise Systems

We implement and integrate the core systems your organisation runs on — ERP, CRM, HR and finance — and make sure people actually use them.

Overview

What this is — and why it matters

Enterprise systems fail more often from poor implementation than poor software. Successful projects need process design, clean data, careful integration and genuine user adoption — not just installation.

HLM implements and customises enterprise platforms, builds the integrations between them, and manages the change so the system becomes how work gets done. We also build custom enterprise platforms where packaged software doesn't fit.

  • Every department on the same, current numbers
  • Processes standardised and enforced by the system
  • Integrations eliminate rekeying and reconciliation
  • Scales from 10 users to thousands

The challenges

Sound familiar?

These are the problems that usually bring organisations to this service.

Departments on disconnected systems

Finance, stores, HR and operations each run separate tools that disagree with each other.

Failed or stalled implementations

Big-bang ERP projects that ran over budget and never won users over.

No management visibility

Leadership can't see stock, cash or performance without waiting for manual reports.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

Odoo, ERPNext, SAP or custom — how do we choose?
It depends on size, complexity, budget and how unusual your processes are. Open-source suites fit most mid-sized organisations at a fraction of the licence cost; we advise neutrally as implementers of several platforms.
How long does an ERP implementation take?
A focused implementation for a mid-sized organisation takes 3–6 months. We favour phased rollouts — finance first, then stores, then HR — over risky big-bang launches.
What about our historical data?
We migrate it. Data cleaning and migration is a formal workstream in every project, with reconciliation reports so you can trust the opening balances.
Our last ERP project failed. Why would this succeed?
Failed projects usually skipped process design and change management. We fix the process first, involve users from day one, and roll out in phases with success criteria at every gate.
